Community Pharmacy Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Pharmacist to join our team at Whitefriars Shopping Centre in Canterbury.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, service-led store, delivering a range of enhanced services, including Pharmacy First. You will ideally have your independent prescribing qualification, which will be utilized effectively in the store.
Your day will be spent in consultation rooms, supporting patients, diagnosing, and prescribing. You may also link with local GPs to run clinics. This role offers a competitive base salary and a substantial performance-based annual bonus.
About the RoleAs a Pharmacist with us, you'll provide excellent customer and patient care, listening and providing expert advice and reassurance. Your main areas of responsibility will be:
- Delivering the pharmacy strategy through expert care and advice
- Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
- Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
- Conducting continual review through audit, observations, and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety
- Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services
To succeed in this role, you'll have a professional character, a true desire to help us improve, and:
- Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
- Demonstrated high levels of professional expertise and respect from stakeholders, peers, patients, customers, and external professionals
- A passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for customers
- Collaboration and a team-centered approach
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and national/local services
- Great communication skills, able to put people at ease and meet the varied needs of customers and patients
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
