About the Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our plant and equipment. With a focus on preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis, you will ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures.
- Install and commission electrical connections for new equipment, following safety protocols and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults, using technical expertise to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with contractors to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Support the development of apprentices and engage in ongoing training to stay current with industry advancements.
- Level 3 Electrical Installation (C&G 2360/2365) and Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391) qualifications.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Proven experience in maintenance or facilities management, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures.
- Ability to work at heights and provide out-of-hours standby cover on a rotational basis.
- Full UK Driver's License.
Salary and Benefits:
