Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant/Business Partner to join our team at Prodrive. As a key member of our commercial team, you will work closely with our engineering, programme, and operational teams to provide accurate analysis of forecast and actual costs.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the financial implications of programmes are understood from the outset and well tracked during delivery. You will work with programme leads to make informed decisions, identify opportunities and threats to the performance of the programme, and take appropriate actions.

You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on stock and WIP movements, verifying business performance data and programme management reporting, and supporting external reporting for key manufacturers.

Our ideal candidate will have experience within Business Partnering or Senior Management Accountant roles, within a similar environment. Strong numeracy skills, ideally you will be qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent or qualified by experience. You will have strong IT system skills including Microsoft Excel.

A strong communicator with an ability to interpret then concisely articulate the insights your data supports, you will be comfortable challenging business leaders. Resilient and pragmatic you will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to build consensus to drive the right commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and report on stock and WIP movements
  • Verify business performance data and programme management reporting
  • Support external reporting for key manufacturers
  • Develop and monitor reports that give insight into current and future financial performance
  • Develop and improve management information for the leadership team and programme managers
  • Present financial information in a concise and understandable manner for operational teams
