Job Title: Clinical Coding Auditor

We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Coding Auditor to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is based in a hybrid setting, combining remote work with on-site responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits of clinically coded data according to NHS Digital's audit methodology and code of conduct.
  • Support the Clinical Coding Manager in achieving departmental objectives.
  • Undertake staff audits and ad-hoc specialty audits.
  • Assign codes from the International Classification of Diseases (ICD10) and the Office of Populations and Censuses and Surveys (OPCS4).
Requirements
  • Candidates must hold an Accredited Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ) and a Clinical Coding Audit Qualification.
  • Extensive experience in specialist clinical coding across all specialties is essential.
  • A good understanding of Payment by Results framework is required.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of clinical coding rules and conventions are necessary.
Salary and Benefits
