Job Title: Clinical Coding AuditorWe are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Coding Auditor to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is based in a hybrid setting, combining remote work with on-site responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audits of clinically coded data according to NHS Digital's audit methodology and code of conduct.
- Support the Clinical Coding Manager in achieving departmental objectives.
- Undertake staff audits and ad-hoc specialty audits.
- Assign codes from the International Classification of Diseases (ICD10) and the Office of Populations and Censuses and Surveys (OPCS4).
- Candidates must hold an Accredited Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ) and a Clinical Coding Audit Qualification.
- Extensive experience in specialist clinical coding across all specialties is essential.
- A good understanding of Payment by Results framework is required.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of clinical coding rules and conventions are necessary.
