Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wine Connoisseur to join our team. As a Senior Wine Connoisseur, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, providing expert wine knowledge, and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert wine knowledge and recommendations to guests
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of wine, including wine regions, grape varieties, and wine-making techniques
  • Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service and a high-quality dining experience
  • Participate in wine tastings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest wine trends and developments
  • Contribute to the development of wine lists and menus
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create wine pairing recommendations
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Senior Wine Connoisseur in a high-end restaurant
  • WSET Level 2 or above (desired)
  • Sake knowledge and a keen interest in learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
