Job Title: Team Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Team Leader within our Personal Wellbeing Commissioned Rehabilitative Services (CRS) in the London region. Our services are commissioned by HMPPS to deliver tailored support services to individuals on probation, aiming to reduce reoffending and promote community reintegration.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing line management and motivation to a team of Frontline Practitioners, ensuring they achieve our Justice Business Plan objectives. You will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to mobilize services, ensure contractual compliance, and maintain high standards of professional performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support for Frontline Practitioners in engaging service users in rehabilitation activities and addressing emerging risks.
  • Ensuring staff and volunteers are engaged, motivated, and understand their role in achieving Catch22's objectives.
  • Implementing policies, procedures, and evidence-based innovation to improve service delivery and organizational performance.
  • Managing support plans, reviews, and reports to the Senior Operations Manager, using established monitoring systems.
  • Ensuring disciplinary, complaints, and grievance procedures are managed appropriately, including investigations and disciplinary interviews.
  • Maintaining records in accordance with NPS, Prison, and organizational procedures, ensuring data security.
  • Supporting the professional development of staff, including regular 1-1 supervisions, annual PEF appraisals, and personal development opportunities.
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships and communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Good basic education, including Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continual professional development.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office - Word and Excel.
  • Management and Leadership experience.
  • An understanding of legislation, research, and performance requirements relevant to offender rehabilitation.
  • Knowledge of the main resettlement pathways and services that offer interventions relevant to these pathways.
