Join Our Team as a Staff Platform Engineer

As a Staff Platform Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing tools and products that enhance the developer experience, improve productivity, and drive innovation.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our Central Product Group. As a Staff Platform Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing clean, functional code with a polyglot engineering mindset
  • Providing a smooth local development environment for Kubernetes deployed services
  • Coordinating with development teams to facilitate experimentation and testing
  • Leading the adoption of cloud-native environments, including Kubernetes
  • Evolving and maintaining CI/CD processes for streamlined development and deployment
  • Delivering self-serve Observability and service management to engineering teams
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure successful task delivery and coordinating activities
  • Creating comprehensive documentation and conducting training sessions
  • Continuously researching the Platform Engineering and DevEx landscapes to identify trends and opportunities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably with Python
  • Solid understanding and experience working with pipeline automation and CI/CD systems
  • Experience and interest in GenAI frameworks, such as LangChain, Llama Index, and LangSmith
  • Knowledge of Data Pipelines and AI SDLC (MLOps)
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Cloud Providers, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience with IAC, preferably Terraform
  • Understanding of GitOps concepts, such as ArgoCD
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
