Job Title: Financial Accountant

The estimated salary for this role is £57,895 - £91,129 per annum.

This position requires regular travel both in the UK and abroad.

About the Role:
  • Managing Group audits and supporting internal departments in their external reporting requirements.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members locally and internationally to strengthen the control environment.
  • Building relationships with senior internal stakeholders, including the CEO and executive directors.
  • Reporting to the Financial Director and supported by a senior finance team operating internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with external financial auditors and assist with audit and accounting papers.
  • Prepare group consolidated accounts and related entity statutory accounts.
  • Work with international finance teams to ensure timely audits and implement recommendations.
  • Draft and shape accounting policies as required by changes in standards.
  • Provide technical accounting advice on key transactions or changes in standards.
  • Assist with tax queries from external advisors to finalize yearly corporation tax returns.
  • Ensure integrity of data within the accounting system through control report reviews.
  • Support cash flow management and ensure accurate reporting for treasury management.
  • Support the development of an internal audit function within the Group.
  • Assist with year-end audit and ad-hoc tasks or project work.
  • Drive process improvements within the finance team.
