We are seeking a highly competent finance professional to join our team at Ann Pettengell in Cambridge. As a finance and accounting specialist, you will provide critical support to our organization's financial operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting and analysis, credit control, order processing, and general accounts support. In addition, you should have excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and experience in providing financial advice to non-financial staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • General Accounts Support: Sales/Purchase Ledger, Reconciliation, Expenses
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Credit Control
  • Order Processing

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 'A' level standard (or equivalent) of education including Maths and English to GCSE level or above
  • Accounting training to the level of AAT (or studying towards) or equivalent level of practical experience
  • Experience in a finance-based environment, ideally within an academic setting
