Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Finegreen. The role will involve hybrid working and an ASAP start is available. This is a short-term interim position for 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Team, with a focus on ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet. This includes payroll, payments, receivables, and SBS transactions oversight. You will also oversee daily operations of outsourced Operational Financial Services to NHS SBS, setup and payment of suppliers, transactional procurement, payroll, and treasury management.

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring Trust compliance in producing various statutory returns, such as month and year-end accounts, charity accounting, and VAT returns. You will support Trust-wide financial planning of the Balance Sheet and Cash flow, ensuring the integrity of the Trust financial reporting system. Additionally, you will complete charity reviews currently being conducted by Trust auditors, provide budget holder training for financial management, and perform financial reconciliations and finance information provision.
