Job Title: Payroll and Finance Administrator

Gray Healthcare is a leading provider of community-based support services in the UK. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals, and we are seeking a skilled Payroll and Finance Administrator to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company's payroll routines and cycles, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Process payroll information, including pension amendments, auto-enrolment, and statutory payments.
  • Calculate and enter data, including SSP, SMP, and SPP, and deal with Attachment of Earnings.
  • Process P11D returns, tax code changes, P45, and RTI submissions.
  • Provide support to staff on salary, deductions, attendance, time records, and pension queries.
  • Liaise with external agencies, including HMRC and pension providers.
  • Ensure employee confidence through protection of payroll operations and confidentiality.
  • Produce monthly and supplemental reports, and ad-hoc analysis to agreed deadlines.
  • Undertake integrity and audit checks to ensure information received from operational, clinical, and central teams is authorised, accurate, and completed within deadlines.
  • Maintain key stakeholder management and establish effective working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Provide support to the Financial Controller in achieving team and organisational strategic projects.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in payroll, with expert knowledge of Income Tax, National Insurance, SSP, and SMP.
  • Ability to calculate Gross to Net manually.
  • Confidence in using Oracle Net Suite accounting software and Excel.
  • Commitment to career and personal development, with a Payroll qualification an advantage.
