Job Title: Payroll and Finance Administrator

Gray Healthcare is a leading specialist provider of community-based support, dedicated to empowering individuals to live independently. We're seeking a skilled Payroll and Finance Administrator to join our Central Support office in Wavertree.

About the Role

We're looking for a flexible team player with proven experience in payroll, expert knowledge of income tax, national insurance, SSP, and SMP. You'll be responsible for owning the completion of payroll routines and cycles, ensuring compliance with relevant ethical, regulatory, and legal standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll information, collecting, calculating, and entering data.
  • Input pension amendments, process auto-enrolment, and submissions to the external pension provider.
  • Calculate statutory payments, deal with attachment of earnings, and process P11D returns.
  • Answer staff questions about salary, deductions, attendance, and time records.
  • Liaise with external agencies, such as HMRC and pension providers.
  • Ensure employee confidence through protection of payroll operations and confidentiality.
  • Produce monthly, supplemental reports, and ad-hoc analysis to agreed deadlines.
  • Undertake integrity and audit checks to ensure information received is authorised, accurate, and completed within deadlines.
  • Maintain key stakeholder management and establish effective working relationships.
Requirements

We're looking for someone with a proven track record in payroll, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience with Oracle Net Suite accounting software is a plus, but not essential. If you're a team player with a passion for payroll and finance, we'd love to hear from you.
