Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage ETSF, AEO, and MOU systems
  • Oversee end-to-end import and export processes and customs entries
  • Liaise with airfreight partners for space booking
  • Lead a team of customs clerks to ensure smooth customs processes
  • Ensure compliance with import and export regulations
  • Act as the primary contact for customs-related matters
  • Design processes and build SOPs, circulate to the business, and ensure adherence
  • Secure required air-freight space, monitoring volumes to prevent delays or waste
  • Liaise with airfreight providers to reduce costs and improve service
  • Manage carriers and handling agents to minimize issues and exceptions
  • Report on AKE fill rate and airfreight costs to the business
  • Collaborate with analysts to create impactful reporting

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of imports, exports, and trans-shipments
  • Familiarity with multiple customs systems
  • Strong commercial focus and negotiation skills
  • Experience with transit documents (T1, etc.)
  • Strong customs process and system knowledge
  • Proven team leadership experience
  • Experience with bonded goods and clearance

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1730
