Agricultural Sales Demonstrator

At Charlies AG & Turf, we are seeking a Sales Support Demonstrator to join our team based at our Welshpool depot.

The primary objective of this role is to demonstrate the full range of John Deere, Kramer, and other brands to end customers, showcasing state-of-the-art technology. This position will work closely with the sales team, playing a vital part in the sales process of new machinery. On-hand training will be provided to suit the individual, enabling them to become an expert in the John Deere range.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivery and installation of machines
  • Organisation of machines in the yard
  • Preparation of machines for demonstrations and events
  • Attendance at shows and events
  • Providing exceptional levels of customer service at all times

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Knowledge of agricultural machinery and GPS
  • Competence in using and setting up machines
  • Knowledge of farming practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Presentation of a professional image at all times
  • Ability to interact with customers and develop/build a relationship that ultimately delivers a positive, satisfying experience

This is a full-time position for 42.5 hours per week, with the ability to work overtime as business dictates. The new Welshpool depot will operate 6 days a week, with Saturday working on a rota basis.
