Key Responsibilities:
- Service: Facilitate machine bucket inspections and provide both customer and internal facing reports regarding overall bucket performance and specific ESCO product performance to defend and grow market share; Provide gauging services and associated lip and GET condition monitoring reports; Identify GET components and provide detailed GET Maps for both customers and ESCO’s equipment database; Involved in all activities associated with product tracking, performance analysis, warranty issues, policies and returns.
- Product Support: Provide education on products, installation, safe operation, and maintenance for customer, dealers, and other Weir employees; Provide data on product performance and component wear life.
- Customer Support: Travel to site to provide quick response and satisfactory solutions to immediate customer problems and product installations; Assist customer with maintenance and service day planning, provide detailed reports outlining bucket condition and GET requirement; Direct troubleshooting of ESCO equipment to the appropriate Product Manager and aid in identifying cause/solutions; Supports regional quotes to ESCO standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with respect to new product development and processes; Consult with wider sales audience to resolve GET problems and avoid machine downtime
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- 8 years related experience mine site experience or and relevant qualification
- Will to travel to customer mine sites as required
