Job Description:

Our client is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join their team. This role is ideal for a driven individual with 1-2 years of experience in sales who is looking to expand their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Sales Representative will focus on cold outreach to generate new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships, and drive sales growth within the logistics and aggregate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in cold calling, emailing, and networking to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with current and potential clients, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to meet their business requirements.
  • Handle objections effectively and negotiate terms to close deals.
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, aiming to secure upfront OTE of up to £2,500 per contract.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of industry trends and customer needs to provide tailored solutions.
  • Track and report sales activities, pipeline, and results to ensure targets are met.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within logistics, aggregates, or a related industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals and achieving win-win outcomes.
  • A deep understanding of client needs and the ability to build long-lasting relationships based on trust and exceptional service.
  • Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to conduct cold outreach and build rapport with prospective clients.
  • Good understanding of market research to identify trends, target customers, and inform sales strategies.
  • Availability to attend the office once a week for team meetings and collaboration.
