Senior Care Home Manager

Avery Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to lead our team at our care home. As General Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will also be responsible for the recruitment, retention, and development of staff, as well as providing inspirational leadership and management to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality care and person-centred care to residents.
- Be responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.
- Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in resident's wellbeing.
- Ensure safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency.
- Provide on-going inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Ensure costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls, by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.
About You
To be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate must have a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment, Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in IT.
