About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Specialist to join our team at Intec Recruitment. As a key member of our Repairs team, you will be responsible for fault finding and repair to component level our wide range of products.


Responsibilities



  • Work through a prioritised list of repairs
  • Take on ad hoc specialist repairs
  • Interact with the Support team
  • Maintain a work log on our MRP system
  • Assist with day-to-day activities within the company, particularly within Support and Test departments

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will require:



  • A clear history of working in a test and repair environment
  • The ability to fault find and take corrective action
  • A good understanding of electronics, including reading circuit diagrams and understanding component types
  • Experience working with small electro mechanical assemblies
  • Excellent soldering skills, mechanical assembly, and practical skills
  • Computer literacy

Desirable Skills



  • An academic electronics background (HNC/HND/degree)
  • Knowledge of networking and communication systems (IP / Wi-Fi / GSM / serial)
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, iOS)
