Job Title: DEI Strategist for Oakleaf Partnership

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) specialist to lead our Engagement & Planning initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing our DEI vision and strategy, enhancing internal engagement, and building meaningful relationships with external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • DEI Engagement Plan Management: Collaborate with our Communications and People Networks to ensure key DEI dates, reporting deadlines, and events are effectively recognized and promoted.
  • Content Development: Oversee our DEI intranet site and produce engaging internal content (news, videos, presentations) that highlights our DEI initiatives.
  • Reporting and Insights: Lead the delivery of DEI reporting, including executive summaries and compliance with external commitments, while analyzing data to inform strategy.
  • Awards and Benchmarking: Support our People Networks in benchmarking communications activities and draft submissions for DEI awards to enhance our recognition.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven track record in delivering effective communications and managing intranets and social media channels.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for DEI: A genuine enthusiasm for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, with a deep understanding of cultural competence and best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is essential.
