About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Powertrain Test Support Engineer to join our team at Intertek. As a key member of our Project Support & Facilities team, you will work closely with Project Engineers to ensure timely and efficient set-up of new customer projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Derive and deliver technical requirements for customer projects
  • Technical ownership of test cell and equipment configuration for each project
  • Instrumentation Equipment set-up
  • H&S sign-off
  • Project-specific risk assessments
  • Fault finding and rectification
  • Standardisation of test set-up equipment, configuration and procedures
  • Commissioning of new equipment
  • Responsibility for mobile test equipment procurement, maintenance, calibration and configuration
  • Awareness and communication of risks and issues
  • Contribute to departmental communications plan
  • Contribute to department KPI data
  • Maintain asset databases
  • Ensure controlled documents are maintained within the Quality system
  • Manage external suppliers of critical equipment and services
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
