EV Powertrain Test Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled EV Powertrain Test Technician to join our team at Intertek. As an EV Powertrain Test Technician, you will be responsible for operating multiple test rigs outside of normal office hours, using defined test methods and scripts. You will also be responsible for installation and calibration of data acquisition systems, debugging and commissioning of complex electronic systems with high speed serial interfaces, and ensuring that the data generated is valid and in line with customer requirements.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with experience in EV powertrain or hybrid system test operations. You should have excellent communication skills, IT literacy, and a highly energized mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt individually. You should also have knowledge of Alternating Current (AC) and Direct Current (DC) electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities- Operate multiple test rigs outside of normal office hours using defined test methods and scripts
- Installation and calibration of data acquisition systems
- Debugging and commissioning of complex electronic systems with high speed serial interfaces
- Ensure that the data generated is valid and in line with customer requirements
- Liaise with colleagues, customers and suppliers in a professional manner
- Ensure all instrumentation used is calibrated in line with company procedures
- Help to implement and follow safe systems of work
