Job Title: Support Worker
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker at The Wilf Ward Family Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex physical health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend activities and events with individuals, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
- Assist with meal preparation and medication management, ensuring the health and safety of our service users.
- Support individuals with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in physical or mental health to appropriate staff members, ensuring timely interventions and support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Provide personal care to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, with dignity and respect.
Requirements:
- A compassionate and caring nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to undergo relevant training and development.
