Job Summary: Quantity Control Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Control Specialist to join our team at ITS (Southampton) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of quantity control, ensuring that projects are completed on time, to budget, and to the required quality standard.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review construction programmes, ensuring that all activities are accurately recorded and progress is monitored.
  • Certify subcontract/supplier payments, prepare Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and accruals, place material orders, and attend weekly internal coordination meetings.
  • Maintain health and safety standards, review and obtain Temporary Works designs, and provide input to the weekly labour meeting.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in Quantity Surveying with a proven track record in project surveying and financial control.
  2. Background in project management with experience of JCT contracts would be advantageous.
  3. Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  4. Extensive experience in dealing with client professionals and subcontractors.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is approximately £55,000-£75,000 per annum, dependant on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a company car or car allowance, healthcare scheme, and pension contribution.
