Job Description

Cyclife Aquila Nuclear, a leading nuclear services company, is seeking an experienced Project Control Specialist to join our team in Twyford, UK.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the planning and monitoring of projects from start to finish. They will work closely with project teams to develop efficient project methodologies, ensure timely delivery, and identify rectification actions required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 (version 15.1 or later) and Microsoft Project.
  • Prepare detailed cost forecasts, including EAC calculations, risk assessments, and contingency planning.
  • Create and implement a Project Controls Plan outlining best practices and procedures for estimating cost control, planning, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Analyse and interpret schedule variances, including critical path identification and forward loading techniques.
  • Provide accurate and timely Earned Value Management (EVM) data to track project progress, performance, and cost control.
Requirements:
  • Expert user of Primavera P6 software with a deep understanding of project control principles and techniques.
  • Able to communicate effectively with various engineering disciplines, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with commercial and financial aspects of project management, particularly NEC contracts.
