Job Details

We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our Winchester-based team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing the financial reporting, management accounts preparation, and day-to-day financial operations of several companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and post financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve any account discrepancies.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, preparing payments, and maintaining supplier records.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Balance sheet management and reconciliation.
  • Produce draft financial statements, including trial balance, profit and loss, and balance sheet.
Requirements
  • ACCA, ACA, or AAT qualification.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Full driving licence with the ability to spend some days at other locations.
