About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in Andover. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our finance department.

The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable and receivable, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. AAT qualification or equivalent experience is also essential.

This is a full-time permanent position, with a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum and hybrid working options available after completing probation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Set up new suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
    • Conduct reconciliation of supplier statements to creditors.
    • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Set up new customer accounts.
    • Handle credit control duties, including chasing customer payments.
    • Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role within a finance department.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
