Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Admin Coordinator to join our team at Huntress Search Ltd in Hammersmith. As a key member of the finance function, you will be responsible for processing transactions, coordinating banking, and supporting payroll, budgets, and financial administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process transactions including purchase ledger, nominal ledger, payroll journals, general journals, and bank posting, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  2. Coordinate banking activities under the direction of the Operations Manager and CEO, maintaining effective communication with relevant stakeholders.
  3. Support the accountant in setting and monitoring budgets, assisting non-financial managers in interpreting and preparing related information.
  4. Provide training and support to colleagues in using financial systems and tools, resolving problems as needed.
  5. Monitor and manage utility contracts, making bill payments in line with company policies.
  6. Maintain compliance with internal financial procedures and policies, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all financial dealings.
  7. Attend and minute meetings, including finance and investment meetings, providing clear and concise records.
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to support colleagues with limited IT and finance skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
