Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented STEM Program Coordinator Summer Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent coordination skills, be able to learn quickly, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize STEM-related events, workshops, and activities, ensuring seamless execution and participant engagement.
  • Coordinate logistics, including participant bookings, venue selection, equipment setup, and school travel, to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Owning prospecting of participant pipeline in Salesforce, conducting outreach to potential schools or community groups to engage them in the program.
  • Communicate effectively with program participants, addressing inquiries and providing necessary information before, during, and after the program.
  • Foster a positive and engaging environment for all participants, documenting feedback forms to improve future programs.
  • Assist the STEM Program Facilitator in facilitating STEM program activities, checking in on students to ensure understanding, helping to set up for various activities, etc.
  • Provide support to instructors and participants during program sessions, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Manage and update the CRM system (Salesforce) to track participant data and program metrics, inputting prospect contact information to ensure our CRM database includes all potential schools and community programs as opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote the STEM program through various channels, including content creation and paid marketing efforts, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between teams to enhance program visibility.
Requirements:
  • The ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Some event planning/coordination experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience working with children in an educational or programmatic setting is preferred.
  • A strong attention to detail, commitment to meeting deadlines, and ability to think outside the box to solve challenges as they arise.

Estimated Salary

£20,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
