Job Summary:

Adecco UK LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced 1st Line Support Engineer to join our team. As a 1st Line Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, ensuring smooth operation of our IT Delivery & Operations Service Desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Service Desk: Provide 1st and 2nd line support for standard usage of all IT equipment, software, and services.
  • AV Service Desk: Provide 1st line support for all AV equipment, software, and services.
  • Laptop Loan: Manage laptop loans for staff and events.
  • AV Equipment Loans: Manage AV equipment loans.
  • IT/AV Support: Provide support for General Teaching Areas and General Devices.
  • Laptop Loans for Digital Inclusion: Manage laptop loans for digital inclusion.
  • IT/AV Support for Office Moves & New Builds: Provide support for standard office moves and new builds.
  • Deployment of End User Compute Devices: Deploy standard end user compute devices.
  • Annual Refresh of GTA Devices: Perform annual refresh of standard GTA devices.
  • Production of Self-Help Guides: Produce self-help guides.
  • Exam Laptop Standard Configurations: Configure exam laptops.
  • Lecture Capture: Provide support for lecture capture.
  • Remote Support Service: Provide remote support service.
  • DDaT Activities for New Academic Year: Participate in DDaT activities for the new academic year.
  • Proactive Maintenance & Replacement of AV Equipment: Perform proactive maintenance and replacement of AV equipment.
  • Hybrid Events and Teaching: Provide support for hybrid events and teaching.
  • Building Project Consultancy: Provide consultancy for building projects.
  • Support for University Events: Provide support for university events.

  • Assisted Hearing Induction Loop: Manage assisted hearing systems.
  • Microphone Transmission Systems: Manage audio transmission systems.
  • Lighting Management Systems: Manage lighting systems.
  • Signal Management: Manage signal transmission systems.
