Acoustic Engineering Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Acoustics Engineer to assume a leadership role within our Northern UK team. As part of our thriving Acoustics and Air Quality Division, you will contribute to delivering premium acoustic services to clients while shaping the future of our region.

About the Role

Your primary responsibilities will include managing project delivery, collaborating with regional discipline leads, and promoting technical excellence throughout our UK-wide acoustics team. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills through knowledge sharing forums and leading technical CPD sessions within our team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams in delivering high-quality acoustic services to clients, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Collaborate with regional discipline leads on strategic work winning activities and promote a positive working environment.
  • Drive innovation and technical excellence within our UK-wide acoustics team.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing forums, sharing expertise and best practices with junior team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A strong background in acoustics consultancy, with extensive experience in environmental acoustics and building acoustics design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • A passion for mentoring junior team members and driving team growth.
  • An existing network of local contacts would be beneficial but is not essential.
