We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team as an Advanced Practitioner in Gynaecology. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a comprehensive range of examinations, including general abdominal, obstetrics, and gynaecology, vascular, and small parts.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a comprehensive range of examinations, including general abdominal, obstetrics, and gynaecology, vascular, and small parts.
- Work closely with our supportive Radiologists and Obstetricians to promote specialist training in areas such as breast, head & neck, paediatrics, MSK, orbits, and small parts.
- Participate in clinical governance, staff and resource management, and contribute to the development of the ultrasound department.
- Provide excellent patient care and high-quality imaging, with patient-centred care at the forefront of objectives.
- A recognised Post Graduate CASE Accredited Ultrasound Qualification (e.g. DMU / Pg Dip / MSc)
- UK professional registration as a Radiographer with the Health Professions Council or as a Midwife / Nurse with the RCN

Person Specification- BSc(Hons) Diagnostic Radiography/DCR or equivalent in a health-related specialty e.g. midwifery, nursing
- CASE accredited Post-graduate qualification in Ultrasound PG Dip or DMU (CASE accredited)
- HPC or RCN Registration
- Evidence of continued professional development in relevant subject
