Academics Ltd in Oxford is committed to providing exceptional support to students with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs. We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Assistant to join our team and help us achieve this goal.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, working collaboratively with the school staff to develop and implement effective strategies. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one support to students with various difficulties, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, attachment disorders, and behavioural issues.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of Restorative and Therapeutic Practices, aimed at promoting positive behavioural choices.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and participating in regular team meetings.
