Job Title: Field Monitoring Assistant

Job Summary:

The Field Monitoring Assistant will be responsible for collecting, summarizing, and compiling data from various programs, including health, nutrition, and protection. The successful candidate will work closely with the field teams to improve program quality through effective monitoring and evaluation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate integrated health, nutrition, and protection programs to ensure timely completion and accurate reporting.
  • Conduct routine data quality assessments to identify and address gaps in data collection and reporting.
  • Facilitate quarterly data review meetings to track program progress against project indicators.
  • Apply statistical analysis tools and methods to analyze cross-sectional and longitudinal data.
  • Generate regular reports for program staff to inform monitoring and evaluation efforts.
  • Develop and implement data collection tools and computer-based data management systems.
  • Supervise data collection and entry, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Capacity build field staff on monitoring and evaluation techniques.
  • Conduct field supervising visits and document findings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of field experience in monitoring and evaluation.
  • Excellent database, data management, and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with electronic/mobile data collection.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative research skills.
