Field Monitoring Assistant

Job Summary:
The Field Monitoring Assistant will be responsible for collecting, summarizing, and compiling data from various programs, including health, nutrition, and protection. The successful candidate will work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and evaluate integrated health, nutrition, and protection programs to ensure activities are carried out on time and challenges are addressed.
- Coordinate and facilitate routine data quality assessments to identify and bridge gaps in reporting.
- Prioritize and facilitate quarterly data review meetings to supervise program progress against project indicators.
- Apply statistical analysis tools and methods for routine and ad-hoc analysis of cross-sectional and longitudinal data.
- Generate regular reports for Monitoring and Evaluation purposes.
- Work with the M&E and program staff to develop and provide data collection tools and computer-based data management and reporting systems.
- Supervise the use of iRHIS and synchronize data capture with servers.
- Regularly update data after cleaning.
- Participate in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Improvement measures for coordinated health, nutrition, and WPE program interventions.
- Capacity build field staff on monitoring and evaluation techniques.
- Conduct field supervising visits and document findings and share lessons.
- Work with partners and staff to ensure data is collected and entered into databases and/or tracking sheets, and/or the data platform on a regular basis.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation, or a related field with at least 3 years of field experience.
- Excellent database, data management, and data analysis skills, with experience using at least 2 software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Epi-Info, SPSS, STATA.
- Experience with electronic/mobile data collection.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative research skills and M&E skills.
- Problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, and good judgment skills.
