Wellbeing Support Specialist

We are seeking a Wellbeing Support Specialist to join our team at The Growth Company. The successful candidate will work with individuals to deliver a range of guidance and support services, contributing to their sustained improvement in health and wellbeing.
The role will involve working with service users to create coping skills, strategies to manage poor mental wellbeing, and better links with families, friends, and communities. The successful candidate will be based in our Preston and Chorley centres and will work closely with the National Probation Service.
The Key Worker - Health and Wellbeing will be responsible for ensuring service users receive a personalised wellbeing offer that meets their individual needs and levels of complexity. This will involve managing a caseload, delivering comprehensive assessments, and identifying and developing effective relationships with key local services.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a range of individuals and services. They will be passionate about delivering high-quality support and making a positive difference to the lives of service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure service users receive a personalised wellbeing offer that meets their individual needs and levels of complexity.
- Manage a caseload of service users to achieve targets.
- Deliver comprehensive assessments, including screening for Learning Disability.
- Identify, develop, and maintain effective relationships with key local services to support service users.
- Deliver support to service users via appropriate channels, including digital and group work.
