About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Bank Team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at North Bristol NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to babies and their families in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Take personal responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Supervise and guide other staff members, including healthcare assistants and students, as required.
  • Contribute to health promotion by providing education, support, and advice to patients and their families.
  • Ensure the safe ordering, administration, and custody of patients' medication according to Trust policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • RGN with current live NMC Registration for more than 1 year.
  • Child Protection training Level 3 (Level 2 considered but must be prepared to do Level 3 when in post).
  • Relevant experience within the last 18-24 months.
  • Advanced communication skills, verbal and written, including report writing and record keeping.
  • Basic computer/IT skills and expectation to develop these in line with the needs of the service.
