About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at Hays Specialist Recruitment. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for all IT incidents, requests, and questions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and positive hardware and software support both remotely and on-site.
  • Handle tickets via ServiceNow, phone, email, and the IT portal.
  • Perform troubleshooting and ensure all tickets are recorded and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintain good communication with colleagues and IT contacts.
  • Proactively stay updated on new and ongoing problems and workarounds.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • A good educational background.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a large professional service environment.
  • Up-to-date working knowledge of hardware, software, servers, networking, infrastructure, firewall configuration, and administrative technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, Azure/Hybrid environments, and various IT tools and applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application support, particularly Outlook and Windows 10/365.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is an advantage.
