About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our podiatry team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our podiatry services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage a wide range of podiatry patients with both routine and complex health problems.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, using evidence-based client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate podiatric interventions in community settings and other settings as required.
  • Support positive behavioral changes through activation to empower self-management.
  • Use evidence-based, client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate podiatric interventions in hospital and community settings.
  • Single-handedly assess, diagnose, and develop care and treatment plans for low and high-risk patients in primary and community care settings.
  • Contribute to research and local clinical audit to measure and monitor intervention evaluation.
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
  • HCPC registration.
  • LA Certificate.
  • Evidence of current relevant CPD.
  • Supplementary or Independent Prescriber.
  • Post-graduate qualifications.
  • Registered on Masters programme.
Desirable Qualities
  • Welsh speaker.
Working Arrangements

This role will involve working in a variety of settings, including community and hospital environments. You will be required to travel to undertake your role.
