Job Title: Podiatrist

We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing, developing treatment plans, and signposting patients with routine and complex health problems.

Main Duties:
  • Autonomous assessment and development of treatment plans for a wide range of Podiatry patients.
  • Effectively managing a Podiatry clinical caseload of clients with complex needs using evidence-based client-centered principles.
  • Use of evidence-based, client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate podiatric interventions in the hospital and community setting.
  • Single-handed, autonomous assessment, diagnosis, and development of care and treatment plans for low and high-risk patients in primary and community care settings.
  • Involvement in research and local clinical audit to measure and monitor intervention evaluation.

Requirements:
  • BSc (Hons) Podiatry or equivalent.
  • HCPC registered.
  • LA Certificate.
  • Evidence of current relevant CPD.
Desirable:
  • Supplementary or Independent Prescriber.
  • Post-Grad Qualifications.
  • Registered on Masters programme.
Experience:
  • Post-Grad employment as B5 or B6 Podiatrist.
Abilities:
  • Literacy skills.
Other:
  • Ability to travel to undertake role.
