As a freelance interpreter, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients and provide high-quality interpreting services.
Our company, Language Empire, has been providing professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK for over 20 years.
We are currently recruiting for face-to-face, telephone, and video interpreters, as well as translators.
The role involves listening to, understanding, and memorizing content in the original 'source' language, then reproducing the speech into the 'target' language with 100% accuracy.
You will interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services, check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence, and liaise between the service user and service provider.
Requirements include being fluent in English and another language, having the right to work in the UK, and being aged 21 or over. Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
Benefits include flexible working, working from the comfort of your own home, being your own boss, and ongoing help and support from our dedicated in-house team.
Once your registration has been approved, you will be contacted for any job opportunities in and around your locality.
