Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Fellow in Geriatric Medicine to join our team at Caithness General Hospital, Wick. This is a fixed-term 12-month position, offering a competitive salary of £40,995 - £54,235 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the care of patients on our assessment and rehabilitation ward, providing a unique combination of general, stroke, and orthogeriatric rehabilitation.
  • Assist with front door frailty assessment and review of adults with longer predicted length of stay in the admissions ward.
  • Develop clinical skills aligned with geriatric medicine and practice them regularly.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and teaching initiatives within the department.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
  • At least two years full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis).
