Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Prudential Risk Executive to lead our Prudential Risk team at United Trust Bank. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced risk professional to shape the bank's risk management practices and contribute to its growth and success.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development and implementation of prudential risk management strategies, aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the bank's Pillar 2a and Pillar 2b credit stress testing frameworks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain recovery planning models, incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management practices into business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement model risk management strategies, ensuring all prudential risk models are fit for purpose.
  2. Monitor and report on prudential risk metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  3. Analyze regulatory developments, providing expert commentary and recommendations.
  4. Lead workshops and training sessions to promote risk awareness and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of prudential risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Expert-level Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to interact with system databases and data warehouses using SQL, VBA, or data visualization tools.
