Leading Bank Seeks Experienced Regulatory Reporting Professional


Estimated Salary: £140,000 - £200,000 per annum

Job Overview:

This is a high-profile role across the bank with regular interaction with key stakeholders across Finance, Risk & Treasury.

The ideal candidate will have extensive prudential regulatory reporting experience from the Banking industry and a strong understanding of Capital (credit risk), Liquidity, and BOE prudential regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct Line management of 7 FTE team members.
  • Oversight of all prudential regulatory returns, including COREP, liquidity, and BOE, to ensure they are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Review and technical challenge of the Regulatory Reporting team to ensure returns are submitted in line with relevant requirements and regulations.
  • Close interaction with the Regulatory Change team to consolidate, enhance, and automate existing regulatory reporting processes.
  • Key role in the Horizon Scanning Forum and assumption and interpretation forum, including the documentation and implementation of regulatory assumptions and interpretations.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely production of all internal reports covering month-end regulatory metrics against regulatory requirements and risk appetite.
  • Preparation and management of key capital, leverage, liquidity, and other CRD IV disclosures in Interim and Annual Financial Statements.
Requirements:
  • Extensive prudential regulatory reporting experience from the Banking industry.
  • Strong and detailed knowledge of Capital (credit risk), Liquidity, and BOE prudential regulations.
  • Proven experience of managing a small to medium-sized team.
  • Track record in identifying areas of process improvements.
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong academic background.
  • Alteryx experience is desirable but not essential.
