Sales Consultant

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled Sales Consultant to join our team in Cornwall. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the sales function in accordance with our Vistry customer journey, taking ownership of the process through the maintenance of necessary records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively seek out prospective sales and follow up all enquiries with telephone communication and marketing literature to optimise the business opportunity for sales on your designated development(s) within the hub.
- Create and deliver informative and clear sales pitches and tours of the show home and development.
- Negotiate with customers to ensure the best sales outcome for the business.
- Utilise all technology available to ensure innovation in generating sales across a hub environment and in differing economic conditions.
- Effective management of appointments with pre-booked customers ensuring that these are arranged at suitable times and are undertaken effectively.
- 5 GCSEs / GCE including Mathematics and English (at C grade or above)
- A Levels in any discipline
- Experience working in a customer facing role delivering under pressure
- Experience in generating leads and sales through telephone-based business development
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent IT skills with demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Comfortable using multi-channel forms of communication
- Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations
- Strong negotiation and sales skills
- Proven track record of successfully completing the sales process with customers
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- An interest in property and the housing market
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
- Willing to be flexible in respect of day-to-day duties and hours worked
- Willing to travel to all sales sites, including regional offices
- Full driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle
- Willing to work weekends
- Willing to travel to all marketing suites, including regional office, within the division as required
- Patience and ability to remain calm under pressure
- A friendly, trustworthy, and professional attitude
- Self-starter: ability to make good business decisions in a time-pressed environment
- Great communication skills and proven ability to work both alone and as part of a team
- Strong sense of ownership and desire to perform
- Target driven/focused attitude
