Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative individual to join our team as an Academic Senior Teaching and Learning Innovator. The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team to drive the improvement of teaching, learning, and assessment across the college.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on sharing good practice and academic pedagogy through training sessions and the development of an early academic teacher development programme.
  • Support the ongoing improvement of teaching, learning, and assessment, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Develop and implement research projects, both internally and externally, and share findings through a community of practice.
  • Help develop academic staff professional development activities and lead on their implementation.
  • Work with Local and Senior Innovators across the Group to share best practices, resources, and ideas, to deliver an outstanding student experience.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher with at least 2 years successful teaching experience and evidence of good outcomes for learners.
  • Sound understanding and commitment to achieving excellence in academic teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills to inspire others to deliver an outstanding student experience.
