Academic Innovation Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Academic Senior Teaching and Learning Innovator. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic experience of our students and contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching, learning, and assessment.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support the development of academic staff and lead on the implementation of innovative teaching and learning strategies. They will be responsible for sharing best practices, developing and delivering training sessions, and leading the development of an early academic teacher development programme.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on the development and implementation of innovative teaching and learning strategies
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support the development of academic staff
- Develop and deliver training sessions to share best practices
- Lead the development of an early academic teacher development programme
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching, learning, and assessment
The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of good teaching practices, particularly in A-Level subjects, and exceptional coaching and mentoring skills. They will be able to lead on research, both internally and externally, and actively share findings through a community of practice.
