Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our care team and drive the success of our nursing home. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of dedicated care professionals to deliver exceptional care and services to our residents.
- Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and improvement in the home.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including CIW and Welsh Government standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including CIW, Local Authorities, and Local Health Boards.
- Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure the efficient operation of the home.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Ensure the home is equipped with the necessary resources and technology to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing a similar-sized nursing home or a large care team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards related to care homes.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience in business planning, budgeting, and financial management.
- Experience in staff management, recruitment, and training.
- RGN / RMN Qualified.
- QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or NVQ level 4 in Management in Care.
