Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients with mental health needs, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure that their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that they are tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of care pathways and policies.
Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and current registration with the NMC.
  • Experience of working in mental health nursing, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
