We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Chelmsley Wood. This is a full-time permanent position, with part-time hours also considered.
Main Responsibilities- Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines.
- Provide expert clinical guidance via our second opinion rota, ensuring our reporting guidelines are adhered to during clinical peer-review.
- Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action.
- Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs.
- Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals.

About You- Experience of performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standards.
- A full UK driving license.
- A full understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance, and Caldicott Principles.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
