New Build Residential Property Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and confident New Build Residential Property Conveyancer/Solicitor to join our team in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will have a thorough working knowledge of conveyancing practice and procedures, with a proven track record of managing a caseload of new build property matters from inception through to conclusion.

The role will involve:

  • Managing a caseload of new build property matters, including sales and purchase, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, and lease extensions.
  • Maintaining efficient systems to diarise and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Demonstrating excellent client care and communicating complex legal matters in a commercially astute and understandable format.
  • Liaising directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders.
  • Developing professional relationships with clients and other potential sources of work.
  • Generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
  • Managing, supervising, training, and developing support staff.
  • Contributing to the team's business development activities and budgets.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working on New Build purchase and sales matters.
  • A commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care.
  • Commercially astute, with a understanding of the importance of business targets and their impact on the practice.
  • Experience in assisting with or managing, supervising, training, and developing support staff.
  • A thorough working knowledge of conveyancing practice and procedures.
  • Organised, process-driven, and IT literate with experience using a case management system.
  • Credible past and consistent billing/financial performance.
